ELEMENTAL ASTRO — PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated: September 11, 2026
Effective Date: October 22, 2025

ABOUT THIS POLICY.
This Privacy Policy explains how Ignite Entertainment LLC d/b/a Elemental Astro collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our mobile application and related services in the United States and certain non-EU/UK regions.

1. Who We Are

Ignite Entertainment LLC d/b/a Elemental Astro, a New York limited liability company (418 Broadway, STE N, Albany, NY 12207, USA) ("Elemental Astro," "we," "us," or "our"), operates the Elemental Astro mobile application and related features (the "Services"). This Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to personal information collected through the Services that link to it. We direct our Services to individuals in the United States and certain other non-EU/UK jurisdictions and do not purposefully offer the Services to EU/UK residents.

3. Personal Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Provide

  • Account: email, Apple/Google identifiers, or mobile number for OTP sign-in.
  • Birth Inputs: name, birth date, birth time, and birth city (city only) to compute true solar time; biological sex solely for Yin-Yang/Five-Elements logic.
  • Life Events: years of promotions, layoffs, admissions, investments, job changes for alignment checks.
  • Mirror Q&A: text prompts you submit to receive AI responses ("Private Inputs").
  • Support: bug reports and feedback you send us.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

Device/OS, app version, language, time zone, usage and event logs, crash reports, push token, and IP-derived coarse location for fraud prevention and analytics.

3.3 Payments

Apple App Store and Google Play process purchases; we receive limited transaction metadata (product ID, timestamp, status) for entitlement management.

4. Sources of Information

We collect information directly from you, automatically from your device, and from service providers: AWS (US) hosting; Firebase (analytics/crash, ads features disabled); AppsFlyer (install attribution and fraud prevention, service-provider mode); Google Maps (geocoding birth city); Apple/Google (authentication and in-app purchases); and AI model providers accessed via our backend. Providers are bound by written terms prohibiting secondary use and public-model training.

5. How We Use Personal Information

  • Provide & operate the Services, generate charts and AI outputs, maintain accounts, process purchases.
  • Improve & secure stability, prevent fraud/abuse, and measure performance.
  • Communicate non-marketing push notices and support responses.
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce terms, and protect rights and safety.

No Public Model Training. We do not use your Private Inputs to train public AI models.

6. Attribution & Analytics

AppsFlyer is used only for installation attribution and fraud prevention (no retargeting or cross-context behavioral advertising). We honor Apple App Tracking Transparency and Android privacy controls; where tracking is restricted, we rely on SKAdNetwork/Privacy Sandbox equivalents.

Firebase collects usage and crash data to improve stability and performance; advertising features and Google Signals are disabled.

7. AI Processing

  • Your prompts are transmitted through our backend solely to generate responses you request.
  • Storage for Display. To let you revisit insights in-app, we store your chart data and AI-generated outputs under your account on AWS, per our retention/deletion rules.
  • AI providers act only as processors/service providers and may not train general models or self-use data.
  • AI outputs may contain inaccuracies; do not treat them as professional advice.

8. Push Notifications & SMS

With your permission, we send non-marketing push (e.g., energy updates, account/security notices). You can disable push in device settings. If you sign in with a mobile number, we may send OTP/security messages. Message/data rates may apply; reply STOP to end messages to your number.

9. Payments & Subscriptions

All payments are processed by Apple App Store/Google Play. We do not receive card numbers. Refunds and cancellations follow store policies and can be managed in your store account.

10. How We Share Personal Information

We disclose information to service providers, app stores, within corporate transactions, and where required by law or to protect rights/safety. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising.

11. International Transfers

Processing occurs in the United States on AWS. If EU/UK users access the Services, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (and UK Addendum) plus supplementary measures; we do not purposefully offer the Services to EU/UK residents.

12. Data Retention

Account/Profile: for the life of the account; deleted/anonymized within a reasonable period (e.g., within 90 days) after closure.
Chart Data & AI Outputs: stored to display history; deleted upon account deletion, subject to limited backups.
Diagnostics/Analytics: only as needed for security and improvement (e.g., up to 180 days).
Payment Metadata: for reconciliation, tax, and audit (typically 3–7 years).
Backups: rolling retention (typically 30–90 days).

13. Data Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access, segmentation, monitoring, and incident response. If a notifiable breach occurs, we will notify affected users/regulators without undue delay as required by law.

14. Children & Teens

The Services are not for children under 16. If we learn we collected such data, we will delete it. California residents under 18 may request removal of content they posted by emailing info@elementalastro.io. We do not sell/share minors' data.

15. Your Rights

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia and other states may have rights to access, correct, delete, portability, and appeal. Submit requests to info@elementalastro.io with subject "Privacy Request." We will verify and respond within required timelines. If denied, you may appeal by replying "Appeal."

16. Do Not Track & GPC

We do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals, which is a legacy signal most sites no longer act on. We do honor Global Privacy Control on the web, and applicable platform-level privacy controls on mobile. See section 17 for how to turn web analytics off yourself.

17. Cookies & Tracking

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers. Firebase runs with advertising features disabled.

On the web we use Google Analytics 4 to count which pages and features get used, so we know what to improve. It sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) that hold a random identifier for your browser. We send it the page you are on, which feature you opened and how long you stayed, the page you first arrived on, and, once you are signed in, your account ID plus a few coarse labels (membership tier, whether your chart is complete, your element and zodiac sign, a rough range of your energy stone balance, how you signed up, and how you first found us, such as the kind of page you first landed on and the site or campaign that sent you). We never send your name, email, phone number, birth date, birth time or birth place.

You can turn this off. Open Settings and switch off "Help improve the app". We stop sending analytics right away and remove the Google Analytics cookies from this browser, and on later visits we do not load Google Analytics at all. The setting is saved in this browser, so if you also use another browser or device, switch it off there too. Your reading experience does not change.

We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends GPC, analytics stays off automatically and the switch in Settings is disabled, because that decision is already made for you.

18. Google API Services & Maps

We comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use). Google Maps is used only to geocode birth city to coordinates for solar-time calculation and not for advertising or profiling.

19. Third-Party Links

External sites are subject to their own privacy practices; review their policies before providing information.

20. Accessibility Statement

We aim to improve accessibility over time. For accommodations or alternative formats, contact info@elementalastro.io.

21. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. The "Last Updated" date reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced in-app and/or by email if available. Continued use means acceptance.
