1) Overview

What is Elemental Astro?

Elemental Astro is an entertainment and self-reflection app rooted in Yin-Yang and Five-Elements. We combine our proprietary charting system with professionally authored reports. AI is used only as an assistive tool (phrasing, tone, contextualization)—not as an autonomous decision-maker. All content is for entertainment and educational self-reflection only and is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

Who can use Elemental Astro?

Users 16+. If you are 16–17, use the app only with parent/guardian permission and supervision.

Where is Elemental Astro available?

We operate in the United States and select non-EU/UK regions. We do not purposefully offer the Services in the EU/UK and may restrict access based on location.

How do I get started?

  • Download from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
  • Create your profile with name, birth date, time, birth city (used to compute true solar time), and biological sex (Yin-Yang/Five-Elements logic only).
  • Optionally add life-event years (e.g., promotions, layoffs, admissions, investment gains, new jobs) to help align interpretations.
  • Sign in with Apple, Google, or mobile number (OTP).

2) How It Works

How are charts and reports generated?

  • Core charting and energy calculations are performed by our in-house proprietary system (true solar time + Yin-Yang/Five-Elements relationships).
  • Reports are professionally authored and reviewed by our content team; AI assists with phrasing and personalization within our controlled framework.
  • We may decline prompts that are unsafe or outside scope.

Elemental Astro is not affiliated with NASA or any government organization.

Are the reports “accurate”?

They are based on your birth inputs and our internal energy-mapping rules. Energy interpretation is symbolic; treat all results as self-reflection guidance, not scientific fact or professional advice.

3) Subscriptions & Billing

What plans are available?

  • 3-month membership (auto-renewing)
  • 12-month membership (auto-renewing)
  • No free trials.

How do I cancel?

Cancel before renewal via your store account:

  • iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Elemental Astro → Cancel
  • Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Elemental Astro → Cancel

Access remains until the current paid term ends.

Payments & refunds

All purchases, billing, taxes, and refunds are handled exclusively by Apple or Google under their policies. We honor the store’s determination. Prices may change with advance notice as required.

4) Energy Stones & Virtual Items

What are Energy Stones?

Energy Stones are virtual items with no cash value, used to unlock additional chart insights (e.g., future years) or Mirror usage. They are non-transferable and non-refundable. We may adjust pricing/bundles/rules and revoke items obtained through abuse or error.

Referral rewards

If a new user registers via your invite, both accounts may receive Energy Stones. Because this is a material incentive, referral messages may include a disclosure such as: “I may receive in-app rewards (Energy Stones) for referrals.”

5) Account & Data

What data do I provide?

  • Birth details: name, date, time, birth city (for solar time).
  • Biological sex: used only for Yin-Yang logic.
  • Optional life events: years of major experiences (promotion, layoff, admission, investment gain, new job).
  • Avatar image (optional).

What is saved to my account?

Your core chart data and reports (those visible in your profile) are stored on AWS so you can review them later.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account.

  • Account/profile and stored content are deleted or anonymized within 90 days after deletion.
  • Security/operational logs are retained only as needed (e.g., up to 180 days).
  • Backups are purged on rolling cycles (e.g., 30–90 days).

6) Mirror (AI-assisted Q&A)

What happens when I ask a Mirror question?

Your prompt is processed via our secure backend and a one-time response is displayed immediately.

Is Mirror saved to my account history?

No. Mirror prompts and responses are not stored in your account and are not visible later. We may retain temporary, anonymized technical copies on secure AWS servers for short-term diagnostics and service improvement, then delete them under our normal retention schedule. Mirror data is not shared externally and is not used to train public AI models.

7) Notifications & SMS

Why did I get a text?

We send one-time passcodes (OTP) for sign-in and security. Message & data rates may apply. If received in error, reply STOP to end messages to that number. We maintain a wrong-number list to prevent repeats.

Marketing messages?

No marketing SMS. We may email you only to respond to support or bug reports. Push notifications are non-marketing (e.g., energy updates, security). You can disable push in device settings.

8) Privacy, Security & Providers

Do you sell or share personal information?

No. We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Which service providers do you use?

  • Apple/Google (payments & identity)
  • Firebase (analytics/crash; ad features disabled)
  • AppsFlyer (install attribution & fraud prevention in service-provider mode)
  • AI vendors accessed through our backend on AWS

Contracts prohibit secondary use and public-model training. Data is processed in the United States on AWS. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How is data protected?

We use encryption in transit/at rest, least-privilege access, monitoring, and incident response. We require comparable safeguards from our processors.

9) Accessibility

Is the app fully accessible?

Because the app evolves, we do not represent that every feature meets specific technical standards (e.g., WCAG) at all times. We make reasonable efforts to improve accessibility.

10) Support & Safety

I feel distressed or unsafe. What should I do?

Please do not rely on the app in a crisis. Contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline (e.g., in the U.S., dial 988). For safety, we may decline certain topics and display crisis resources.

11) Troubleshooting & Contact

Report a bug (fastest)

Open the app → Settings → Feedback → Bug. Add a short description and, if possible, a screenshot. This path includes technical details for faster resolution.
